Louth Wedding Photographer - Kath & Rick

Kath & Rick got married at St Giles Church in Scartho and then had their reception at  the well established Louth wedding venue The Brackenborough Hotel.  This beautiful sunny day started with a visit to Kath’s mum’s house – which was also a bed and breakfast – so plenty of room for some wedding preparation photography – I had free reign of the stairs, hallways and landings, and their lovely little garden.  I met up with her and the bridesmaids who were all being very supportive and also excited about the day ahead.

Once I photographed her in her dress it was the short drive to the church to catch up with Rick and his merry bunch of men.   It was something a little different today in regards to the mens outfits – they all had black and white Converse style trainers on!   I grabbed a few shots before everyone was ushered inside to wait for the bride.

The ceremony itself was a short (no hymns today) but very sweet with loads of smiling and laughter – these two are very clearly in love and it showed in how happy they were.

It was then onto the Brackenborough Hotel for the most fun part of the day – the eating, drinking and dancing.  There were some very lovely moving and funny speeches which got everyone into the mood for the party.   After the first dance I left the crowd dancing the night away.
