Rutland Water wedding photography is something I’ve been wanting to do for year!  So I was delighted when I was booked to shoot the wedding for Rebecca and Colin.  Of course, I had been looking forward to shooting here since they booked me as it is a beautiful wedding venue and yes, you can guess what happened – RAIN!  All day and lots of it.  Oh well, as a professional wedding photographer, it’s days like these that are here to keep you on your toes.

I arrived at the gorgeous little chapel on the edge of Rutland Water to catch a radiant Rebecca hiding away in the little vestry doing her final prep and waiting for Colin to arrive.  Once the guests arrived and Colin got there it was on with the show – with I must add, a few tears from the groom himself, a touching moment.

Once the ceremony had finished at Rutland Water Chapel it was onto the Normanton Park Hotel for the reception.  I was there to cover the guests mingling and the speeches of which all were excellent.  The two best men had clearly done a lot of homework and preparation so well done fellas!  Amazingly, after the speeches the rain stopped and the sun came out and I was able to capture a few more of the happy couple by the water without them getting wet.  You’ll see these at the end of this small gallery.

They are also available to view on my Facebook page where you will be able to tag anyone you know – so please help yourself!
