Daniella and Philip got married at The Petwood Hotel in Woodhall Spa, which is one of my very favourite wedding venues in Lincolnshire.
The day started with me walking into a room FULL of women! Normally I’m not phased by this at all but there was a least eight, no nine in there! Daniella had chosen six lucky ladies and one lucky girl to be her bridesmaids, then there was her mum and the her friend the make up artist. It was great though and just added to the buzz of the preparations. Daniella had chosen a rainbow of dresses for them all and they looked so pretty and colourful, you can see them in the photo later on.
Once Phil arrived I caught up with him getting ready in a room with his brother the best man.
The room was stunning! I mean it was just so colourful! The backs of the chairs were decorated in the same six colours that the brides maids had and I just had to include a photo of them in this selections. And the cake! Well what can I say? Never seen anything like it before.
The ceremony was lovely with plenty of laugh and even a few tears. Once that complete, everyone gathered outside for drinks and canapes. Being a wedding photographer at Petwood Hotel means I have free reign of the MASSIVE grounds to find great spots for the groups shots and the bride and groom portraits.
The speeches were very touching and very funny and the food was as always, fantastic.
Daniella and Philip were very easy to work with, and politely followed my instructions and were cooperative to my demands! I honestly don’t think Daniella stopped smiling from the beginning of the day until she went to sleep. It was lovely to see and obvious that these two are very much in love.
The day ended for me on a packed dancefloor capturing the moves being busted! What a fantastic day and here are a few of my favourite Petwood Hotel wedding photos.
