Norwood Park is a beautiful country house just outside of Newark and as a top Nottinghamshire wedding venue it certainly did not disappoint – it was like a mini Downton Abbey.
I was asked to be the Norwood Park Wedding Photographer for Alice and Anthony. I got to know Alice as she was the sister of Katherine, whose wedding I had photographed about a year ago which can be viewed here.
I’d arrived in time to meet up with the groom Anthony and then it was onto Alice and her mum and the two bridesmaids to capture the bridal preparations. From there it was a very short walk down some stairs and a corridor to grab photos of the groom and the proudest best man ever – his son William! He had great pleasure in telling me that this was his role for the day 🙂
The ceremony was beautiful with tears everywhere – especially when William stood at the front presenting the rings looking so so proud.
After the ceremony it was outside for the group shots and the intimate portraits of the bride and groom. I stayed until the start of the wedding breakfast.
