Laura and Ben got married at the fantastic Oaklands Hall Hotel near Laceby in Lincolnshire, which is becoming very familiar territory for me. All the spring flowers had bloomed and all the trees were fully leaved which made for some beautiful wedding photography at the Oaklands Hotel.
The day started with me catching up with the boys for some shot of them all looking dapper, and then it was straight on to ceremony. Laura looked absolutely stunning when she greeted her father at the door of her hotel room and just didn’t stop smiling all day long.
The boys had all made a cheeky bet to guess if Ben the groom was going to cry, when it would be. The best man won as he guessed “walking up the aisle” – that would have been my guess to! It was great and added to the emotion of the day. I managed to get some stunning portraits of the happy couple walking around the ground of the hotel, through the flowers and between the trees. Their daughter even joined us for a couple!
I stayed until the wedding breakfast so a short day for me as a Oaklands Hotel wedding photographer, but a no less brilliant one! Congratulations Laura & Ben!
