Natalie & Sophie’s Lincolnshire Farm Wedding
I love where I live – my home town of Louth is nestled on the edge of the Lincolnshire wolds; a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. So getting the opportunity to be a wedding photographer at a lincolnshire farm on the top of the wolds – well it doesn’t get much better!
The tranquil green hills of Lincolnshire played host to a truly special celebration — Natalie and Sophie’s same-sex wedding set against the scenic backdrop of a charming farmhouse. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments, perfectly exemplifying the beauty of love in all its forms.
The day started, as it nearly always does: with the preparations – this part of the day gives me time to get to know the couple (and the bridal party!) better.
The couple, whose love story inspired everyone present, had officiated the wedding previously at the registry office in Louth, but also exchanged vows surrounded by friends and family who traveled from near and far. The ceremony was intimate yet joyous, a testament to their commitment and the support of their loved ones.
Following the vows, guests enjoyed a rustic reception featuring local Lincolnshire produce, lively music, and heartfelt speeches. The farm’s natural charm and scenic views made for stunning photos that captured the essence of the day.
This wedding not only showcased the love clearly felt by the happy couple but also highlighted the inclusive and progressive spirit of modern times. It was a reminder that love knows no boundaries, and every union is deserving of celebration.
Congratulations to the happy couple! Their wedding on this beautiful Lincolnshire farm was a perfect example of love, authenticity, and community. I wish them a lifetime of happiness together.
