The week between Christmas and New Year was crazy busy for me and a busy Aidan is a happy Aidan. I had the pleasure of shooting Alex and Daniel’s wedding at the magnificent Stoke Rochford Hall that week and what an experience! This was my first time as a Stoke Rochford Hall wedding photographer and was completely thrilled to be shooting there. The weather was not playing ball at and the rain outside was nearly horizontal! This didn’t matter because I had all the space and beautiful features I needed inside this stunning Grantham wedding venue. Weddings at Stoke Rochford Hall are held in the impressive and very light (very important) orangery – you can see how good this room was for the ceremony from the photos below.
This was a shorter day for me today and I caught up with Alex and her lovely bridesmaids as they were finishing off their bridal preparations, where I was greeted by a room full of excited women and it was good to see that the champagne was already flowing!
When I met up with Daniel and his best men, they were ready for the day ahead and within a couple of minutes I’d already received some cheeky banter from the lads – I knew this was going to be a good day!
The ceremony was great and there were lots of smiles throughout. The whole day, in fact, was great and has such a relaxed atmosphere – beautiful venue, lovely guests and an awesome couple.
Once the speeched were completed, I left them to enjoy their wedding meal in peace.
