On Saturday I was at Home Farm in Hallington, the home of Megan’s parents.  As a Lincolnshire wedding photographer it’s not very often I get to shoot a wedding in a marquee in someone’s garden and what a pleasure it was too as the sun was shining all day.  I met up with Megan and her sisters – who all looked stunning I might add, for the bridal prep at the farm.  Another first for me was the mode of transport!  The bride, bridesmaids and father of the bride all left a trap pulled by the gorgeous Cracker – the pony you can see in the images below.

The ceremony itself was at Raithby Church and yes there were tears, from the groom!  Once we had got all the serious stuff out of the way, it was back to the farm in Hallington for the reception.

It was a lovely day and I absolutely loved Megan’s dress – it made a nice refreshing change to the more tradition dresses I normally photograph and was designed by Caroline Chamberlain in Lincoln .  An extra special mention must go out to Heather’s Fruit and Veg in Horncastle who provided the fantastic bouquets – they were beautiful and very summery.
