Or should I say Lincolnshire County Wedding?  Steph and Ben got married in a beautiful village called Tealby for their Lincolnshire wedding, which is a quaint picturesque little place set in the heart of the Lincolnshire wolds.

I photographed Steph’s brother’s wedding back in autumn of 2013, so I was happy when I got recommended by him as their Lincolnshire wedding photographer for his little sister, and it was great to see Alex and his wife Gemma again.

The day started at the bride’s parents gorgeous cottage for the bridal preparations, where I was greeted by a house full of bridesmaids who were all in great spirits.   From there I dashed off to the village hall to check out the room which looked stunning completely decked out with an English Country Wedding theme. Ben the groom had even made his own table plan complete with very impressive butterfly paintings.  I then quickly caught up with the boys in the pub who were also in good spirits – a bit of dutch courage helped I think!

Then it was time for the main event.  I waited at the church for first the bridesmaids, and then Steph and her father to arrive.  She looked stunning and was grinning from ear to ear.

The weather was sort of on our side but as usual, the rain came intermittently when I was trying to photograph the group shots.  We got there in the end though and I even managed to get a photograph of the entire wedding party inside!  Tealby village hall has some fantastic features, one of which is a balcony – very handy for finding those unusual viewpoints for wedding photography.

Steph and Ben are one of those couples who are very much liked by a lot of people and it’s easy to see why – they made me so welcomed and even invited me to stay and join in with the party afterwars.  I would have loved to because they had some wonderful people there with them.

The main wedding meal was afternoon tea and was delicious, which was provided by The Vintage Tearooms – who come highly recommended!  The speeches were great and everyone partied hard into the night and the entertainment was provided by The Natterjacks who are definitely worth checking out.

Congratulations Steph and Ben, you make a wonderful couple and I wish you all the best for the future!

Here are a few of my favourite photos from their Lincolnshire Wedding.  As always, please do leave a message at the bottom – you could even share it on Facebook!
